She also spearheaded a symposium on AI in Photography in collaboration with FOAM Magazine, Photoworks, and The Photographers’ Gallery during Paris Photo 2024. She graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Photography with distinction in 2022. Previously, she worked as an Educational Delivery Manager and Photography Tutor at Photofusion in London, where she curated exhibitions and led community-focused photography programs, combining teaching, curriculum development, and career support for underrepresented groups. She has actively participated as a portfolio reviewer for FORMAT25, Photo-Match at Fotofestiwal Łódź, Shutter Hub YEARBOOK, UWE Bristol Photography BA Degree Show, and Offspring Photo Meet. She has also taught at Poway Adult School and lectured as a guest tutor at Paperdrop Lab and Fachhochschule Dortmund, University of Applied Sciences and To me, Kranitz’s monumental new photobook, \"Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down,\" feels urgent. As someone who spends considerable time thinking about what constitutes ‘American-ness’ and teaching on the ethics of photographic representation at a rural college, Kranitz’s work smartly questions who is qualified to represent whom. Gathering seventeen years of photographs, archival research, and literary texts, Kranitz traces the complex social history of Appalachia through the central narrative thread of Pat Greene, a West Virginia native she met in 2013 whose life connects intimate regional history to broader political forces, confronting influential, self-blaming accounts by figures like Harry Caudill and JD Vance, It was initiated in Italy in 2021 by Giuseppe Oliverio as a real-life extension of the homonymous digital platform, PhMuseum. Held in Bologna, the epicentre of the “Viaggio in Italia” movement led by legendary photographer Luigi Ghirri in the late 1970s and 1980s, the festival is now in its fifth year under the theme “Archipelago,” which frames the festival's vision as a network of distinct yet interconnected voices and locations that collectively form a shared cultural ecosystem throughout the city.
