Malena

In ‚Malena' a stranger awakens the memory of my own youth.

A purely visual effect leads to intergenerational dialogue, between photographer and portrayed, starting from the phase of youthfulness. An open curiosity to look, to reflect, and to recognize, carried out through the medium of memory, photography. In a typology of the younger ego, the work goes beyond the classical definition of self-portraits and opens up further levels of self-questioning, the individuality of memories, in an age of everyday self-portrayal.
