“Plima” B-Side #7

Working on “Plima” brought me closer to my dad than I have ever been before. It helped me to understand the impact of the conflict on his life, as well as how it has affected my own life. I feel that he is happy to have me around more often. For a long time, he thought I just wanted to get away from home, which is somewhat correct. It wasn't until I moved away and started my own chapter in life that I felt ready to look back on my past and make sense of it. We have talked about it many times and although I still cannot find the words to express everything, he seems to understand it better than I ever could. He sees it more clearly than I do.
