This display intends to explore the possibilities and limits of exhibiting photographic images presented in the form of public information media, such as billboards and hoardings, but utilising the medium of gallery-quality fine art prints. Image makers worldwide have been invited to submit one image. 26 images have been selected by the jury to build a large grid display. The display references the photographic image as seen and encountered daily in our cityscapes – on billboards, as well as a form of public (artistic) intervention. Jury: Diandra Donecker (Partner, Head of Photographs, Grisebach), Mariama Attah (Editor, FOAM Magazine), Gita Cooper-van Ingen (Editor, Creative Director, Der Greif), Simon Lovermann (Founder, Artistic Director, Der Greif).
