History of Creation

The end of 2020. My curator at the “Docdocdoc” photography school, Feodora Kaplan, suggested several experiments before the upcoming holidays. I chose the experiment "Look behind the Christmas tree". The task was making a wish on New Year’s Eve, fulfilling it, and capturing the process.

At hour X, I wished myself peace – and went on a binge. I drank a lot to achieve the serenity I experienced when taking tranquilizers. At the same time, I was shooting abstract pictures that reflected my state. Later, they were joined by still lifes and a doll that acted as my alter ego.
