    Sweet, Sweet Nectar

    Sweet, Sweet Nectar is my first solo exhibition in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a culmination (but not the end) of the past few years. The body of work that I have developed for this show still remains within the same ballpark (deconstructing and re-contextualizing objects through different tonal vernaculars), though I like to think they derive and depict a more personal and grounded perspective: memories of my upbringing and a more human presence in the form of actual bodies within the photographs.

    Minh Ngọc Nguyễn

    Minh Ngọc Nguyễn (b.1992) is a Danish-Vietnamese visual artist. Nguyễn holds an MFA in Photography from HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design in Gothenburg (2018) and a BA in Visual Communication from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen (2016). His work has been shown internationally in various solo and group exhibitions and he published his first photobook Sour Sun (2021), through Norwegian publisher Heavy Books.
