We are all transitory beings and our bodies, as well as the material world around us, are in the eternal process of returning to the dust we came from. - Daisetz T.Suzuki
Bodies and objects may appear simply as pretty, but when exposing them as transitory elements, they can bring awareness of the ephemeral and they become profound. Scars, stretch marks and scratches are a reminder of past experiences and history. Erasing them would be like ignoring the complexities of life and therefore beauty is understood in a polyhedral, intense and contradictory way, as beauty that finds its raison d’être in imperfection. The idea is to move past the photographic image and enter a world of reflection and contemplation of our own vital experience.
