Remember to call your Mother, Son

Artist Feature of Zexuan Zeng

It has been months since I last spoke to my family. I need, and desire, to communicate with them, but I need to figure out how to start. The conflict of generational differences seems to be inflating itself. Why does it stick in my throat whenever I want to say something? What was the problem? I've given up searching for the answer, from my own experience. I look around me and listen to other people's stories, from a friend, or a passing stranger, stepping into their private space - maybe like me - their place to hide, or to heal.
