(M)otherhood

My first pregnancy transported me to a different realm. On one hand, the challenge lay in navigating the intricate dance of becoming a mother and doing everything right. On the other hand, there was the drive to pursue my personal goals as an artist.

Both roles demand mechanisms that, when simultaneously pursued, often lead to inevitable discord, yet they remain ever-present in tandem. I envisioned myself as an experiment in balancing these dual functions - each guided by its own set of principles - and as a magnet for these two different passions. Here, I offer a glimpse into my work in progress.
